During the era of the Cold War, the Sith Lord known as Darth Jadus orchestrated a deception: he simulated the annihilation of his Harrower-class dreadnought, the Dominator. This allowed the organization called the Eagle's network to take credit for the supposed act. The event, which was broadcast extensively and thought to have resulted in the deaths of the three thousand individuals on board, triggered Imperial Intelligence's pursuit, known as the hunt for the Eagle. However, it was subsequently revealed that Jadus had fabricated the entire incident and had, in fact, survived the ordeal along with his ship, the Dominator.
