Having successfully fled his Yevethan captors, Dobbatek became involved in Major Sil Sorannan's clandestine escape operation around 17 ABY, holding a position of seniority among the officers involved.
His assignment involved enabling the hidden slave circuitry present on a captured Imperial warship. This warship was then being utilized as a command vessel by the Duskhan League. The goal was to reclaim a squadron of Star Destroyers, previously under Yevethan control, for the Empire and subsequently navigate them to the Deep Core.
