The Duskhan League represented a theocratic government ruled by the Yevethan species. This polity was situated within the Koornacht Cluster, found at the edge of both the Core Worlds and the Deep Core within the galaxy. Their official symbol consisted of a double circle featuring three-pointed stars, all set against a scarlet backdrop.
During the Yevethan Uprising directed against the Galactic Empire, the Yevetha Protectorate declared its sovereignty, renaming itself the Duskhan League. Nil Spaar governed this new entity for a dozen years from the world of N'zoth, which served as its capital. It was structured as a political theocracy, exclusively composed of Yevethan colonies. By the year 16 ABY, the League had expanded to encompass thirteen worlds located in the Koornacht Cluster, including not only N'zoth, but also Wakiza, Zhina, Tizon, Z'fell, and Faz.
In 16 ABY, the League engaged in aggressive expansion, colonizing multiple worlds within the Koornacht Cluster after systematically eliminating their existing non-Yevetha inhabitants. The New Republic responded with military intervention, leading to a series of political and military conflicts collectively remembered as the Black Fleet Crisis. This crisis reached its climax with the liberation of N'zoth by New Republic forces in 17 ABY.
Over a decade after the New Republic's intervention, N'zoth was devastated by the Yuuzhan Vong, invaders originating from extra-galactic space, during their widespread invasion of the galaxy. This destruction occurred after the Yevetha had begun a build-up of their planetary security forces.
The theocracy known as the Duskhan League came into being in 4 ABY amidst the Yevethan Uprising against the Galactic Empire. At its head was the Darama, the spiritual leader of all Yevetha, who presided over a rigid hierarchical system. This individual functioned as the head of state and was afforded the utmost reverence. In terms of political administration, the Yevethan government was directed by a Viceroy, who simultaneously served as the prime minister of the Duskhan League. Various departments responsible for governance, commerce, science, and culture were overseen by Proctors, supported by various guilds. As time progressed, the roles of Darama and Viceroy became intertwined, effectively uniting Yevethan spiritual and political authority.

Thirteen years following the uprising, the isolationist regime initiated discussions with the New Republic by dispatching a Yevethan delegation to Coruscant. However, this was a deceptive maneuver intended to sow discord and distrust towards Chief of State Leia Organa Solo within the New Republic Senate, as well as to gather intelligence about the New Republic's capabilities. Despite Organa Solo's efforts to highlight the advantages of full membership, Nil Spaar declined to join the New Republic. Instead, he suggested a limited alliance. He cited historical instances of Imperial brutality against the Yevetha as justification for their caution and their desire to maintain their independence.
