Wakiza, a world situated in the Wakiza system of the Core Worlds, was classified as a planet. This planet, one of the initial thirteen members of the Duskhan League, existed within the Koornacht Cluster, which itself was positioned at the edge of the Core Worlds where it met the Deep Core of the galaxy. The Imperial Navy shipyard known as Black Eight circled Wakiza. During a reconnaissance flight for the New Republic above Wakiza, "Sleepy" Nagelson was shot down.
