An annex served as a clandestine storage area for the Offworld Mining Corporation, discreetly tucked away within the wall of the Enrichment Dome. This dome was situated on the planet Bandomeer. The Agricultural Corps, an arm of the Jedi Service Corps, utilized the dome for cultivating plants intended for their agricultural studies. Conversely, Offworld utilized the annex to stockpile mining provisions, including explosives, thermal detonators, and grenades. Offworld's decision to maintain this annex within an AgriCorps installation constituted a breach of AgriCorps regulations.
In 44 BBY, Obi-Wan Kenobi, a Jedi Initiate who did not pass the trials and was assigned to work with the AgriCorps on Bandomeer, stumbled upon the annex during an exploration of the dome. Soon after his discovery, Kenobi informed Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn about its presence.
The 1999 young adult novel titled Jedi Apprentice: The Dark Rival, penned by Jude Watson, showcased the annex. The Dark Rival represented the second installment in the Jedi Apprentice book series.
