Dontamo Prison

Dontamo Prison, located on the planet of Dontamo, was a penal facility, a type of prison. The Galactic Empire considered it among its most brutal, due to its extreme security measures and a mandatory factory labor program. Inmates received only the most basic necessities for survival, were roused at dawn each day, and were killed when their bodies were completely exhausted. Ferus Olin and Clive Flax successfully broke free from the prison in 18 BBY. The facility typically housed either political dissidents or those criminals who had proven too difficult for other prisons to contain.
