Dorn Gestros was a male Human who resided on Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Dorn Gestros became entangled in Jabba the Hutt's scheme to seize control of Mos Eisley. The essence of this plan involved instigating the Tusken Raiders into launching an assault on Mos Eisley. This was intended to exert pressure on the mayor, ultimately leading to Jabba's acquisition of power over the settlement. In the year 1 ABY, Dorn Gestros was a frequent visitor to the cantina located in the city of Mos Espa. During this period, a Twi'lek by the name of Anetia Kah'ryn tasked an entertainer with the mission of extracting information from a number of the cantina's patrons, Dorn Gestros included. Anetia, being a performer herself, had observed that patrons were more inclined to share information after they had been provided with entertainment. Anetia's objective was to gather intelligence regarding criminal activities and Tusken Raider movements on Tatooine. She believed that Dorn Gestros might possess valuable knowledge in this regard. A newly trained entertainer proceeded to the Mos Espa cantina and delivered a performance for Gestros and the other individuals present. In the aftermath of the performance, Gestros gave the entertainer a compliment. Seizing this opportunity, the entertainer responded with flattery and then inquired whether Gestros had any knowledge of relevant information. Gestros then disclosed that someone was stirring up the Tuskens, and that some sort of sacred location was implicated. The entertainer expressed gratitude to Gestros for the information. After bidding their farewells, the entertainer relayed the information to Anetia.
Dorn Gestros functioned as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying experience developed by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, prior to its termination on December 15, 2011. Dorn Gestros was integrated into the game through the "Publish 17" update, released on May 26, 2005. He featured in a quest given by Anetia Kah'ryn to players new to the "entertainer" career path. His appearance was randomized with each server reset, but he always appeared as a male Human.
