Dorosii
Dorosii, a Hutt who held office as the Designated Representative for the Outer Rim region within the Galactic Senate throughout the Galactic Republic's era, existed during that time. In the year 22 BBY, the M'dweshuu Sect—a Nikto cult that revered death—initiated a series of killings along the Sisar Route, a space lane situated in the Outer Rim. Dorosii attempted to assure the Republic that Hutt forces would suppress the cult's violence without the need for Republic intervention; however, the Jedi High Council allegedly commenced an inquiry into the matter.
Biography

Dorosii, a Hutt, functioned as the Designated Representative for the Outer Rim—a region bordering Hutt space—in the Galactic Senate during the Galactic Republic's rule. In 22 BBY, the M'dweshuu Cult—a Nikto cult that worshiped mortality and originated from the world of Kintan—initiated a wave of sporadic homicides along the Sisar Route corridor within the Outer Rim, resulting in the deaths of at least twenty-seven individuals.
In the wake of this outbreak of occult-related violence, Dorosii endeavored to persuade Republic authorities that intervention was unnecessary, claiming that local Hutt forces were capable of addressing the M'dweshuu attacks. Despite these assurances from the Hutt, the Jedi High Council made plans to investigate the killings regardless, and according to HoloNet News, likely intended to deploy a strike team into the Outer Rim themselves. A HoloNet News CoCo District Edition publication later documented both the M'dweshuu cult murders and Dorosii's communications with Republic officials.
Personality and traits
Dorosii held the opinion that the Republic's involvement in resolving the M'dweshuu murders was unwarranted, a view not shared by the Jedi High Council.
Behind the scenes
Dorosii's first mention occurred in "Nikto Cultists Plague Sisar Run," an article penned by Pablo Hidalgo and Paul Ens, published in HoloNet News Vol. 531 #45 on the original HoloNet News website on February 28, 2002.
