He and his Padawan, Drakka Judarrl, managed to survive the rise of the Galactic Empire, but this survival was short-lived, as the Master was eventually discovered and executed by the Sith Lord known as Darth Vader.
Endowed with Force-sensitive abilities, this male was trained in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order, ultimately achieving the rank of Jedi Master. He chose Initiate Drakka Judarrl to become his Padawan, and together they served the Order in some capacity during the period of the Clone Wars. After the war's conclusion, both Master and Padawan went into hiding as the Galactic Empire came to power and initiated the Great Jedi Purge.
Unable to intervene as countless Jedi were hunted and killed by the Empire, which was under the control of a Dark Lord of the Sith, the pair chose to assist several members of the Galactic Senate in escaping persecution. This action brought them to the attention of Darth Vader. Vader eventually tracked down and killed the Jedi Master, but he failed to capture Judarrl. With the help of a smuggler who had been assisting her master, the young Zabrak managed to escape Vader. The two fled to Dantooine, where Judarrl took refuge in the underground areas of a destroyed Jedi academy.
