The expansive cave located on the southern border of the Barren Tract on the moon Oricon was known as the Dread Cavern. In the era of the Dread War, the Dread Masters' armies confined an ancient subteroth within its depths, harnessing its energy to fuel their terraforming technology.
Behind the scenes
The video game Star Wars: The Old Republic saw the inclusion of the Dread Cavern with the release of Game Update 2.4: The Dread War. It serves as the setting for both the "Seeds of Dread" story mission, available to all factions, and its daily counterpart, "Dread Engines," which can be repeated.
