Oricon

Oricon existed as a satellite of a planet, specifically a moon, situated in the Outer Rim Territories not far from the Seat of The Empire.

Oricon, found in the Oricon system within the Corva Sector, was characterized as a volcanic moon orbiting a verdant planet. Notably, it possessed a breathable atmosphere.

History

Once an obscure and relatively unimportant world, Oricon served as the residence of Darth Vitus at one point in time, but its location became obscured from the rest of the galaxy. Vitus conducted experiments involving Sith alchemy on the planet, which resulted in the creation of dark side infused monsters. During the period known as the Great Sith War, a group of Sith managed to locate the world by deciphering clues found within a holocron, which ultimately led them to Darth Vitus's compound.

In the time of the reconstituted Sith Empire, the Sith Emperor charged six Sith LordsBestia, Tyrans, Brontes, Styrak, Calphayus, and Raptus—with the task of analyzing the potent Phobis devices, dispatching them to Oricon for this purpose. After their studies, they emerged as the enigmatic and formidable Dread Masters. They then announced their desire to establish Oricon as their base of operations. With the Emperor's approval, they employed thousands of enslaved individuals to construct the Dread Fortress, which served as their stronghold.

During the Galactic War, the Dread Masters' insurrection against the Empire met its end in the Dread War that occurred on Oricon. It was here that the remaining Dread Masters were defeated and killed within the confines of their fortress.
