The Dread Fortress served as the stronghold for the Dread Masters on Oricon, a moon situated in the Outer Rim.
Following the demise of Dread Master Styrak in 3638 BBY during the Battle of Darvannis, this fortress is where they gathered again. Subsequently, in that same year, both the Sith Empire and the Republic located them on their lunar base. Strike teams from both sides infiltrated the fortress, where the forces of the Dread Masters mounted their final defense.
