Brontes, referred to as the "Architect of Fear", was a formidable Sith sorceress of female gender and a part of the group known as the Dread Masters. Her existence spanned a significant portion of the Sith Empire's timeline, and her deep understanding of Sith artifacts' essence and function prompted the Sith Emperor to command the enlargement of a Sith burial site into the Dark Temple, shortly after the Empire established itself on Dromund Kaas around 4980 BBY. Instead of wielded a lightsaber, Brontes employed her supreme mastery over the dark side of the Force's power to defeat her enemies. She directed the modification of Dread Forces on Oricon, incorporating technological upgrades and weaponry. Ultimately, she, along with the massive creature Grob'thok and the robotic forces of Corruptor Zero, were defeated by Republic and Imperial assault squads during the Dread Fortress operation raid.
