Tyrans, referred to as the "Tactician of the Masters," belonged to the Dread Masters, an assembly of potent dark side sorcerers. His weapon of choice was a lightsaber with black and white blades.
Among the Dread Masters, Tyrans often voiced his opinions. On Oricon, he orchestrated the strategies employed by the Dread Guard and Dread Host forces. During the confrontation in their Palace, Tyrans viewed the battle as a mere game, utilizing the floor of his sanctum to add complexity to the fight, temporarily displacing his adversaries 'from play'. Upon his 'defeat', Tyrans proclaimed, "This was merely a game; the real trial is yet to come."
Tyrans excelled in Force-based assaults; diverging from many of his Dread Master peers, he refrained from melee combat. His arsenal included formidable abilities such as Thundering Blast, Shock, and Death Mark, demanding respect. Death Mark, in particular, induced rapid decay and demise in his target over a short duration, making it one of his deadliest and most potent techniques.
The strike team faced him once more within the inner sanctum, alongside the remaining Dread Masters. During this encounter, Brontes and Styrak were resurrected as spectral figures, only to be vanquished by the strike team. Tyrans exhibited visible shock upon witnessing Styrak's downfall. Shortly thereafter, he too succumbed, along with the other Dread Masters.
