A type of weapon that emits a magnetic-pulse, sharing design elements with the portable EMP grenade, droid busters, alternatively known as magpulse busters, were concussion-feedback missiles mounted on LAAT/is towards the conclusion of the Clone Wars. These missiles would explode at an altitude of five meters, possessing the ability to disable all battle droid units within a fifty-meter zone.
During the initial phases of the Battle of Murkhana, which occurred in the waning days of the Clone Wars, multiple droid buster missiles saw action. They successfully eliminated a large number of B1 and B2 battle droids, along with a few Hailfire tanks, from the beachhead and designated landing area, thereby enabling the clone troopers led by Jedi Master Roan Shryne to disembark with a degree of security.
