Resembling floating spheres equipped with needles, claws, and electric shock devices, they shared visual characteristics with IT-O Interrogator droids. The Qrephs utilized them to inflict torture on captives, and in 45 ABY, they deployed a DSD-1 to torture Han Solo, Ohali Soroc, Ohali Two, and [Barduun] during a warped sabacc match where the stakes involved the exchange of knowledge and pain, instead of credits.
