This particular canyon krayt dragon made its home within the Eastern Dune Sea, specifically among the Rakatan Ruins located on Tatooine. Ultimately, it met its end at the hands of Komad Fortuna and Revan, who devised a plan to attract the creature towards a group of banthas and then detonate strategically placed mines, resulting in its demise. Following this event, Revan retrieved the krayt dragon pearl from inside the dragon's throat. This pearl served as proof of his worthiness to learn about the past of the Tusken Raiders and was also intended for use in the construction of his lightsaber.
