Dynamet Corporation

The Dynamet Corporation operated within the galaxy during the century preceding the Great Sith War that pitted the Galactic Republic against the Sith. Back in 4056 BBY, this corporation contributed a significant sum of credits to Mercy General, a hospital situated on the planet Taris. This contribution was specifically intended to finance a new section of the hospital focused on discovering a treatment for the rakghoul plague afflicting Taris. As a result of this act of kindness, the hospital structure was subsequently renamed Dynamet General Hospital.
