Eddie van der Heijden collaborated with Nathan Butler on creating the timelines for The Essential Atlas, a 2009 publication to which he contributed. His surname appeared incorrectly as Hejiden within the guide itself. Star Wars Timeline Gold by Nathan P. Butler credits van der Heijden with establishing the Great ReSynchronization dates for the three maps related to The New Jedi Order that were included in the Atlas.
