Elassa Huros

Elassa Huros was a Sith apprentice of the Human species (a female, who lived during the time of the Jedi Civil War.

Biography

During her time at the academy, Elassa Huros possessed a captivating and alluring presence, being young, beautiful, and charismatic. After completing her trials and being chosen as an apprentice by a Dark Jedi Master, she displayed a remarkable charm towards the men she encountered. However, her master did not consider her to be particularly knowledgeable in the ways of the dark side and doubted her potential as a true Sith.

Seeking to demonstrate her dedication to the Sith cause, Elassa was stationed on Manaan in 3956 BBY, where her master oversaw the operations of the Sith Embassy. While navigating through Ahto City, she became infatuated with a former agent of the Galactic Republic named Sunry and embarked on a clandestine affair. The two began meeting in secret at a hotel. Suspecting that he possessed valuable Republic secrets, Elassa decided to deceive the retired soldier in order to extract the information and deliver it to her master, and ultimately to Darth Malak. However, Sunry soon discovered her true intentions and refused to divulge any information. Despite her best efforts, Elassa's plans were foiled when her master informed her that she had already failed him. The following day, while Elassa was in the hotel room, Sunry fatally shot her with a single blaster shot.

As fate would have it, Revan was appointed as Sunry's arbiter during a visit to Ahto City. He uncovered the truth surrounding Elassa's murder, and this revelation significantly impacted his defense of Sunry for the crime he had indeed committed.

Behind the scenes

There are some inconsistencies concerning the precise circumstances of Elassa's demise. Sunry may confess that he waited until Elassa was asleep before shooting her, while a secret recording indicates that he shot her in the back shortly after entering the room. Alternatively, it is possible that Elassa had already been killed by her fellow Sith for failing them. Subsequently, Sunry shot her corpse (mistakenly believing she was asleep), left the room, and the Sith framed Sunry to make him look like the hero. These explanations are speculative and difficult to verify.

In unused content from the game, Revan had the potential to discover a datapad penned by Elassa to her Sith Master shortly before her death, located within the Sith Embassy. In this message, she expresses her belief that Sunry possessed no information of value and reveals her intention to murder him on the very same night that the jilted Sunry killed her. Ironically, while Sunry had killed her to protect the Republic, he had inadvertently prevented his own death at the same time.
