Eleven Elders of the People

The governing body of the planet Emberlene, known by various names such as the Eleven Elders of Emberlene, the Eleven of the Mistryl, or simply the Eleven Elders, was formally titled the Eleven Elders of the People. They also served as the commanding officers for the Mistryl Shadow Guard.

During the era of the Clone Wars, the Eleven Elders steered their world to join the Confederacy of Independent Systems. However, it appears their underlying goal was to establish their own small-scale interstellar domain. This action triggered a response from neighboring planets, who employed a mercenary group to launch a counter-attack, resulting in widespread destruction on Emberlene.

Despite the devastation, the Eleven Elders managed to preserve both their authority and the independence of Emberlene. They successfully spread a fabricated narrative that placed the blame for the destruction on the Galactic Empire. Furthermore, they were able to maintain a degree of stability on Emberlene through the financial resources generated by the Shadow Guard's paramilitary activities.

Around 19 ABY, the Eleven Elders unexpectedly received an invitation to form an alliance with the Imperial Remnant. This invitation was part of a larger scheme orchestrated by Moff Vilim Disra, Major Grodin Tierce, and the swindler Flim aimed at revitalizing the New Order under the supposed leadership of a resurrected Grand Admiral Thrawn. Paloma D'asima, representing the Mistryl, engaged in discussions with the Imperial leaders. However, the exposure of the conspiracy quickly led to the dissolution of the alliance. Concurrently, Jorj Car'das revealed to Shada D'ukal the truth about the Eleven Elders' actions, potentially signaling the beginning of a new era for the Mistryl.
