A Sullustan male named Elihsu served on an archaeological salvage team affiliated with the Republic during the era of the Cold War against the Sith Empire. While documenting the casualties resulting from the Destruction of Taris, Elihsu and most of his team met their demise at the hands of rakghouls, leaving only Cera and Garthe as survivors. Cera later requested an investigation by a Republic-aligned individual into the team's fate, leading to the recovery of Elihsu's datapad, which contained a final communication intended for Garthe.
During the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, Elihsu, a male Sullustan, was a member of an archaelogical team. Their work focused on Taris, specifically cataloging the victims of Darth Malak's bombardment. Unbeknownst to the others, Elihsu and Garthe, another Sullustan on the team, were secretly pilfering items from the corpses they were meant to be documenting. In 3643 BBY, Elihsu and the majority of his team, excluding Garthe and the human Cera, ventured out from their base at Waypoint Station Aurek into a perilous zone within the ruins. In the broken chemical pipes of the Sinking City, a pack of rakghouls ambushed and killed them.
Despite Garthe's skepticism about their survival, Cera enlisted the help of a Republic-affiliated individual to determine the team's fate. This individual discovered the team's remains within the pipes, locating Elihsu's datapad among the skeletal remains. The datapad contained a message from Elihsu to Garthe, urging him to cease his grave robbing, as Elihsu now understood the feelings of the dead. The individual then returned to Cera and Garthe, revealing the team's demise and exposing Garthe's illicit activities to Cera.
Elihsu's character was developed for Star Wars: The Old Republic, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game launched by BioWare on December 20, 2011. His remains can be found during the Republic-exclusive Taris mission titled "The Corpse Counters," where Cera tasks the player with uncovering the circumstances surrounding the team's disappearance. Players can locate Elihsu's datapad and are presented with a choice: revealing Garthe's theft for light side points or compelling Garthe to offer a bribe in exchange for dark side points.
