Elis served as a prominent figure in a mining settlement located on Anobis. He held a key leadership position during the internal conflict that engulfed that planet.
Elis took Han, Jaina and Jacen Solo into custody when Anja Gallandro lured them, along with the survivors of the agricultural village, to his settlement under the pretense of peace talks. Following the accidental death of his younger sibling, Protas, caused by one of Anja's explosive devices, Elis summoned Yuos, the head of the agricultural community. He intended to execute Yuos, but the Solos intervened, successfully persuading him to bring the hostilities to a close.
