Ellis Ruger was a Republic Marshall of the Human species (a male), who served the Galactic Republic during the time of the Galactic War. He met his death on Belsavis at the hands of an Imperial assassin sent to stop his anti-Empire actions. Upon hearing of Ruger's death, Commander Calum of the Imperial Guard bestowed a reward upon the Imperial who carried out the assassination.
Ellis appears as an NPC within Star Wars: The Old Republic. The player has two choices regarding his destiny: either execute him while Warden Graal observes via hologram (the dark side path), or demand a ransom and his removal from duty, a request that Graal fulfills (the light side path).
