Elsek was a male Human hailing from Kuat, who achieved the rank of sergeant and served as a scout trooper within the Stormtrooper Corps, ultimately becoming a member of Tempest Force.
Originating from the planet of Kuat in the Core Worlds, Elsek, a male human, joined the Stormtrooper corps of the Galactic Empire after completing his training at Corulag Academy. From their graduation onward, he and Avarik were partners. He often found himself having to compensate for his partner's impulsive actions, which included rescuing Avarik from altercations with intoxicated individuals in local bars and enlisted clubs. At some point during his service, he rose to the rank of sergeant. When Han Solo confronted Avarik, Avarik signaled Elsek to seek assistance. As Elsek sped away on his 74-Z speeder bike, Chewbacca used his bowcaster to destroy the vehicle, sending the scout flying through the air.
Elsek's initial appearance was as an unnamed, non-speaking character in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. Later, he was identified and given a short background story in the Endor Limited expansion set for the Star Wars Customizable Card Game, which was released in June of 1999.
