Endor Limited

Endor Limited, launched in June 1999, marked the seventh complete expansion for the Star Wars Customizable Card Game, a card game drawing inspiration from Star Wars. The expansion featured 180 cards, divided equally with 90 cards representing the Dark Side and 90 for the Light Side. The set's composition included 80 rare cards, alongside 50 uncommon and 50 common cards. A key aspect of this release was the introduction of numerous iconic characters from Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi](/article/star_wars:_episode_vi_return_of_the_jedi), specifically those involved in the events unfolding on Endor. Furthermore, the expansion brought Ewoks, speeder bikes, and Scout Troopers into the gameplay mechanics. Notable cards from this set included Daughter of Skywalker, Wicket, and Wokling.

Distribution of this set was through 9-card expansion packs and larger 30-pack expansion boxes. Each individual pack contained a single rare card, three uncommon cards, and five common cards. Notably, starter decks were not produced for this specific expansion. A distinctive feature of this set was the inclusion of an 18-card foil subset, comprising 8 common foils, 6 uncommon foils, and 4 rare foils. Collecting complete foil sets posed a significant challenge due to the scarcity of these foil cards. On average, boxes contained approximately three common foils, an uncommon foil appeared roughly every other box, and rare foils were found in only one out of every three boxes.

Continuity

This particular set served as the primary source for the naming of various characters originating from Episode VI. This encompassed a variety of Imperial officers and troopers, most notably Corporal Dyer, portrayed by sound designer Ben Burtt, and Major Marquand, portrayed by the film's director Richard Marquand. Within the new Star Wars canon, Marquand's character would later be renamed Newland.

Additionally, the set was the first to provide names for several Rebel officers and troops observed both on Endor and aboard Home One within the film. The name of the existing Legends character Lieutenant Page was assigned to one of these characters. Furthermore, several Ewok characters received their initial naming through this set.

Inconsistencies

According to the blog of Leland Chee on StarWars.com, he posited that Decipher, Inc. might have utilized images of the same actor to depict Rebels Corporal Delevar and Sergeant Brooks Carlson on their respective CCG cards. Alf Joint, a stuntman, portrayed Carlson, although he was not credited for the role.
