Empire 22: Alone Together, a comic book in the Star Wars: Empire comic series, represents the twenty-second installment. Dark Horse Comics released it to the public on July 14, 2004.
To avoid being found by the Imperial forces, the Rebel fleet's starships scatter to the most remote areas of the galaxy. Aboard the Millennium Falcon, Han, Chewie, Leia, together with a young soldier named Deena Shan, find themselves in the vicinity of a shadowy jungle moon, where they pick up a plea for help. Upon investigating, they unearth the remnants of a devastating event from the time of the Clone Wars, in addition to a persistent danger that has the potential to destroy them all!
Shan, while battling alongside the Heroes of Yavin, comes to understand that the Rebellion, and even just staying alive, has a much deeper significance than she previously thought, especially when viewed through the lens of camaraderie and selflessness.
