The Endocray sector represented a sector situated within the Mid Rim region, encompassing the planet known as Argovia.
During the era of the Galactic Civil War, the Empire initiated a blockade of the Endocray sector, driven by suspicions of Rebel presence in that location. The Imperial Navy deployed Interdictor cruisers coupled with sensor nets with the purpose of sealing off all hyperlanes that traversed the sector.
In response, the Rebel Alliance initiated an operation aimed at dismantling the blockade control center situated on Argovia. Leona Makk, a cargo ship captain, successfully breached the blockade, transporting an Alliance strike team to the surface of the planet. Following the destruction of the control center, the Imperials found themselves unable to effectively sustain the blockade, resulting in the reopening of the Endocray sector.
