Endor II existed as one of a binary pair of stars positioned at the heart of the Endor system. This system resided within the Moddell sector of the Outer Rim Territories. Endor I served as the other star in this binary system, and both stars were circled by the gas giant known as Endor.
The reference book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, published in 2015, provided the first mention of Endor II. In the Star Wars Legends storyline, the Endor system was depicted as having a singular sun, referred to as Ibleam.
