Equator City, situated on the world of Rodia, formerly held the position of capital city. This status changed when Navik relocated the capital to Iskaayuma.
Within the updated Star Wars canon, the introduction of Equator City occurred in the 2016 publication Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon 58. This city initially appeared within the Star Wars Legends timeline, debuting in the 1996 resource, Shadows of the Empire Sourcebook.
