Wild predators that originated on Batorine were known as Feragriffs. Blood Carvers engaged in ritualistic hunts of these creatures as part of their rite of passage traditions. In order to maintain their traditions, the Blood Carvers transported Feragriffs with them when they relocated to Coruscant.
