Ferdan was a settlement that could be found on the Outer Rim planet called Dalna in the days of the High Republic Era. A lone, diminutive spaceport serviced the town, and its docking beacon was operated by a single droid. Moreover, only a pair of establishments offered lodging to visitors. The residents of Ferdan kept a day of rest, and the town boasted a central marketplace. Just a little ways away from Ferdan was the location of the Path of the Open Hand's commune, a religious cult. Instead of growing up in the commune, Force-sensitive children of the Path were dispatched to this location.
