A lodging house, also known as a boarding house, situated in Ferdan on Dalna, was the property of Lady Jara. Locals knew it as the sole accommodation for off-world visitors to Dalna. Jara prided herself on running a "respectable establishment." The house offered identical rooms spread across two floors, some of which were connecting pairs. These rooms, though simply furnished, were clean and included small sitting areas. Guests took their meals in the dining room, which was equipped with a long table, benches, and a chandelier. The evening meal was served at sunset, potentially including dishes like bar-fish gelatin in white gravy, while breakfast could consist of pink-yolked local eggs atop grain porridge. Near the entrance, a common area provided a dejarik board for entertainment. A droid maintained a garden behind the building, cultivating flowers and vegetables, alongside a small lawn covered in teal grass.
During their visit to Dalna in 382 BBY, Jedi Kevmo Zink and Zallah Macri lodged at this house. Republic official Yarli Yren also resided there for a period. Ric Farazi, a journalist, initially intended to stay at the lodging house but received an invitation to stay at the Path of the Open Hand compound instead.
