Fidelis was a FIII Footman droid from Tac-Spec, and he belonged to House Malreaux. His color scheme involved crimson and ivory, with the checkerboard pattern of House Malreaux emblazoned on his chassis and head, while his extremities featured an ivory base with crimson accents.
For a period spanning twelve generations, this droid served as a staff member at Château Malreaux. In 30 BBY, Whirry Malreaux dispatched him to observe her son, Whie, from afar. Whie had been accepted into the Jedi Order with her intoxicated consent. Approximately a decade later, after Whie departed from the Jedi Temple for a mission on Vjun, Fidelis and Solis, his master-less counterpart, located Whie and his group, including Yoda, on the Reasonable Doubt. Throughout the voyage, he acted as Whie's protector and guided them toward Château Malreaux. Unwittingly, he led Whie and his companion Scout through a cellar, where they were captured by Asajj Ventress. Ventress threatened Whie's life unless Fidelis committed suicide using a Neural-Net eraser. Despite Whie and Tallisibeth's pleas, he tragically complied, believing it was the ultimate act of loyalty to the Malreaux family. His final words were, "Remember, I served the House Malreaux. I didn't imagine it would conclude in this way."
