Fidelity was a war cruiser of the Thranta-class and was a sister ship to both Valiant and Courage. These three ships, operated by droid crews, acted as escorts for the Alderaanian War Frigate named Another Chance. The Another Chance was transporting all the remaining weaponry from Alderaan after the planet disarmed itself following the Clone Wars. After Rebel sympathizers discovered the Another Chance and supplied its weapons to the struggling Alliance subsequent to the Battle of Derra IV, Fidelity was abandoned to drift through the Alderaan system.
