Field Secured Container Vessel

The Field Secured Container Vessel (FSCV) represented a type of fuel tanker spacetug utilized by the Galactic Empire for the transportation of starship fuel cells. Utilizing force-field generators, a pair of FSCVs had the capability to create one or more spherical or bubble-shaped force fields. Moreover, these force fields were capable of being linked together, thus creating a train. The components of an FSCV included a command capsule, a force field generator, fuel cells, an auxiliary command capsule, and hexagonal engines. One such train of FSCVs was known as Black Ice, which comprised nine fuel bubbles and was initially part of the Imperial Replenishment Fleet DK-209; it was subsequently seized by the Alliance to Restore the Republic and met its end through a collision.
