Fighter Gold

Fighter Gold consisted of E-wing escort starfighters and served as a squadron attached to the Intrepid, which was an Endurance-class fleet carrier belonging to the New Republic Defense Fleet's Fifth Battle Group.

In the time leading up to the Battle of Doornik-319, Fighter Gold stood ready for immediate deployment from the Intrepid. Upon the Intrepid's arrival in the system, Fighter Gold formed a portion of the fleet carrier's defensive fighter screen and it is believed they took part in the combat that followed during the Yevethan surprise attack.
