The Malkite poisoner gear represented a collection of tools employed by the Malkite poisoners, a clandestine group of assassins. In the wake of Admiral Jyrom Ottdell's death, caused by zolall extract, Imperial Security Bureau Agent Andressa Divo procured two dozen "Malkite poisoner kits" from the shadowy reaches of the HoloNet while she was conducting her investigation into the Malkite poisoners. Although most were forgeries, one genuine kit surfaced, containing a vial of scarce zolall poison accompanied by a warning to Agent Divo, urging her to cease her inquiry, inscribed upon the dosage label.
