Venom from Krayt dragons, also referred to as krayt venom, was an acidic substance of a greenish yellow hue. It was created within the bodies of krayt dragons and facilitated the initial breakdown of their food. When a dragon felt threatened, it could eject venom directly from its mouth. This would cause the target's organic tissues to disintegrate. Krayt venom could be converted into a poison by drying it, and then grinding it into an orange powder. However, obtaining it was more challenging, and it possessed a lower toxicity compared to poisons like rock wart venom or chall granules. Bib Fortuna, who served as Jabba the Hutt's majordomo on Tatooine, was known to keep krayt venom powder on his person.
