A farm, in essence, was a plot of land primarily dedicated to agricultural endeavors. On the arid world of Tatooine, moisture farmers harvested water from the atmosphere enveloping the desert planet. The disruption of agricultural commerce between numerous star systems occurred throughout the Clone Wars, and during the Imperial Era, the Galactic Empire's seizures of agricultural land resulted in scarcity and inflated costs.
