Fire Spitters served as close-quarters combat armaments employed by the Yuuzhan Vong. Likely descended from the Fire Breather, the Fire Spitter was affixed to the wrist of the warrior who wielded it. Its implementation involved excising the bones of the warrior's forearm, which were then supplanted by the Fire Spitter's spinal column. The remaining portions then encircled the warrior until summoned. Upon activation, the Fire Spitter discharged a projectile consisting of blazing and exceptionally volatile biomaterial, synthesized from internal chemical processes. Due to the inherent risks associated with these armaments, their deployment was infrequent.
