Fire Suppression Droid mark I Visually, the Mark I fire suppression droid bore a resemblance to both the KM1 mining droid and the mining droid Mark I. However, its primary function was extinguishing fires with a carbonite gun. These droids saw deployment at locations like the Peragus Mining Facility. During her journeys, the Exile, Meetra Surik, came across these droids not long before the Peragus Mining Facility's destruction. HK-50 repurposed them, along with other mining droids, to shield the Exile from miners who intended to hand her over to the Exchange. Regrettably, the assassin droid misjudged the power of a Jedi, even one like the Exile who had cut ties with the Force. Consequently, the Exile woke up earlier than anticipated, leading all the commandeered facility droids to turn against her.
