Firefist, alternatively called Companion Besh, was a dwarven galaxy found in a tight and deteriorating orbit positioned 150,000 light-years away from the galactic disk. Within Firefist existed the original homeworlds for the Faruun, Maccabree, Nagai, and Tof species; it was largely unexplored, with only visits from probe droids.
Shortly before the Clone Wars conflict between the Republic and the Separatist alliance, Obi-Wan Kenobi viewed Companion Besh on a galactic chart.
The second satellite galaxy is visible in Attack of the Clones, but it wasn't formally named until The Essential Atlas was published, and then given a common name in The Unknown Regions.
