Assault on Sarapin
The planet of Sarapin was attacked by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars' initial year.
The battle
Sev'rance Tann, the Chiss general, launched an attack on Sarapin by deploying the droid armies she had kept hidden on Raxus Prime, along with the stolen Republic weapon known as the Decimator. Tann eliminated the Republic base situated in the nearby asteroid field to ensure a safe landing on the planet.
Once on Sarapin, Tann and her forces utilized the Decimators to obliterate the five primary Republic military units stationed there. Furthermore, she eliminated Jedi Knight Jor Drakas and seized control of the Republic's stronghold at Mount Corvast.
Aftermath
The battle's consequence was widespread power outages throughout much of the Core Worlds, instilling apprehension about the war in that previously secure area.
