First Light (freighter)

The First Light, a freighter, served Renna's Transport Service, a company situated on Cularin, during the declining years of the Galactic Republic. Around 21 BBY, the First Light was dispatched from the Cularin system with a shipment of Naescorcom thermal detonators destined for House D'Vails, a merchant house located on the planet of Druckenwell. Unbeknownst to Renna's Transport Service, the freighter's crew were secretly aligned with the Red Fury Brotherhood, a formidable pirate organization. After departing the Cularin system, the crew feigned a distress call, jettisoned scrap, engaged the hyperspace drive, and rendezvoused with the Brotherhood. The Thaereian military investigated the ship's disappearance, discovered the discarded debris, and incorrectly concluded that the First Light had been destroyed.

Subsequently, the First Light made its way to Druckenwell, where Denma and Tazzik, two Rodians leading a group of Brotherhood pirates, boarded the freighter with the intention of piloting it to the Republic space station New Dawn to execute a terrorist act. However, a team of freelance agents had secretly boarded the First Light and confronted the pirates, thereby thwarting their planned assault.
