Renna's Transport Service, operating on the planet of Cularin, was a transportation business during the waning years of the Old Republic. The company was owned by a Rodian named Renna, who was known as one of the most skilled import/export merchants in the entire Cularin system. Among the various goods the company transported were Meir wine, speeder components, datapads, and multichannel comlinks. Given that the local spaceport resided in Hedrett, her compound, located in Gadrin, boasted its own private landing area.
In the year 31 BBY, Renna's Service, along with numerous other local businesses, suffered multiple cargo hijackings at the hands of pirates. This led to internal problems with Renna's security personnel. Following a particularly bold robbery within her own compound, perpetrated by thieves disguised as her own security, a group of unknown individuals apprehended one of the pirates. Renna, more impressed with these strangers than with her own security, offered them employment. These individuals were ultimately successful in dismantling the pirate operation and recovering some of the stolen merchandise.
A few months later, Renna took advantage of the difficulties faced by the Metatheran Cartel, as the team she had hired played a crucial role in uncovering the illicit actions of Velin Wir. However, the rapid expansion of her company soon brought Renna under the scrutiny of a news investigation. Renna's Transport Service experienced a growth rate of 500 percent, while no other local transportation company grew more than 100 percent during the same period, raising suspicions among some observers.
