Fitomp

Fitomp, a non-aligned planet located within the Fitomp system of the Unknown Regions', was part of the Rakatan Archipelago. This archipelago was a collection of planets settled by various Rakata species tribes following the fall of their Infinite Empire circa 25,200 BBY. Prior to the Rakata's arrival, Fitomp was also the home of a different sentient species.

In the millennia that followed, the Rakatan tribe that had established a colony on Fitomp experienced a decline, reverting to a more savage and technologically underdeveloped existence. Much like the Rakata residing on Hilak, another planet in the Rakatan Archipelago, the Fitomp tribe developed the conviction that their adopted world represented the entirety of existence. Furthermore, the Rakata on Fitomp were involved in conflicts with the other sentient species residing on the planet. This situation of the Fitomp and Hilak Rakata was different from the tribes inhabiting Makatak and Tulpaa, as they had successfully rediscovered interstellar spaceflight technology.
