The Flail's secret base existed on the world of Talus in the era of the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, it served as the central hub for the Flail, a terrorist group that had initially emerged on Coruscant during the time of the Old Republic. Ultimately, in 1 ABY, the Corellian Security Force managed to pinpoint the whereabouts of the Flail's clandestine headquarters. A fight then erupted in the valley approaching the hideout between CorSec officers and Flail thugs.
