Flame tygah

A flame tygah was a six-pawed, cat-like animal with an oily, multi-colored scaled hide. These creatures were indigenous to the Strafe Plains region of the planet Tython. This beast radiated extreme heat, its tail trailing white-hot flames, and its teeth and eyes shone with a bright, intense light. Known for its aggressive nature, the flame tygah primarily fought using its fiery claws, which left behind smoldering paw prints and could set its prey ablaze. The paws of a large flame tygah could be as big as the head of a teenage Human.

Flame tygahs preferred to build their dens in the mounds of loose material created by sinkhole eruptions, as the soft ground made it easier to dig tunnels. They would launch their attacks from concealed openings at the peak of these mounds. Despite their potential danger to those passing by, they were also considered to be a rare and difficult-to-spot creature, and very few recordings of them existed. This led the Je'daii Ranger Lanoree Brock to believe, when she was a child, that they were mythical creatures created by her parents to frighten her.
