The Strafe Plains, found on the continent of Kato Zakar of the planet Tython, was a territory known for experiencing isolated Force storms. This scrubland was situated between the northern coastline and the Ice Giant Range, characterized by its harsh, frigid landscape scattered with angled, pointed silica pillars and hazardous sinkholes. These magma-filled sinkholes presented a threat, as they were capable of appearing spontaneously. Luckily, those traversing the area could depend on the indigenous spinner birds to steer clear of danger, due to their habit of circling areas on the verge of eruption. In addition to these birds, the area also provided habitat for flame tygahs, who built their lairs beneath piles of debris ejected by newly formed sinkholes.
